About Dr. Lauren Feiner

Dr. Lauren Feiner is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the San Diego area.  She works in private practice with two offices in Mission Valley and La Jolla.

Dr. Feiner graduated from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium in Palo Alto, CA receiving training at both Stanford University School of Medicine and Palo Alto University.  She has worked and trained in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, university counseling centers, and various clinics.  She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults overcome stress, anxiety, depression, and achieve optimal functioning through peak performance.

Dr. Feiner completed her predoctoral internship at Northwestern University Counseing and Psychological Services and postdoctoral fellowship at UCSD Counseling and Psychological Services.  In addition to individual and group counseling, Dr. Feiner provided workshops on peak performance, leadership, and mindfulness for students.

Dr. Feiner considers herself to be integrative, with a foundation in cognitive-behavioral therapy. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Undergraduate:  University of California, San Diego (UCSD). B.S. in Psychology

Graduate/Doctoral Program:  PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium.  Psy.D. degree in Clinical Psychology

Predoctoral Internship:  Northwestern University Counseling and Psychological Services

Postdoctoral Fellowship:  UCSD Counseling and Psychological Services.
